Ford door ajar switch bypass
Door ajar sensors on explorers get disconnected, sometimes the magnets get stuck. Spray WD40 or a lubricant on all four door jamb mechanisms (or two). Sometimes only one fails, and it is usually the tail gate one. Do a google.com search for the location of the sensors and see if they need replacement. It electrically opens and closes when I press/release the button. I have a good ground on the black wire at the switch. The other wire is Green with black tracer, and seems to be open.
